About me
I received the B.Eng. degree and the M.Sc. degree at the Hunan Institute of Science and Technology under the supervision of Dr. Wenwu Xie, in 2019 and 2022, respectively. I am currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with Central China Normal University, advised by Dr. Ji Wang and Prof. Guangming Huang, and expect to conduct my doctoral defense in June 2026. If everything goes smoothly, I am looking forward a potential postdoctoral position, regardless of locations. I will be deeply grateful to any friend who has provided me with the opportunity/offer. [2024-11] A recipient of the National scholarship in 2024.
[2024-09] A recipient of the Excellent Master Dissertation Award of Hunan Province in 2024.
[2024-07] A leading proposal (Generative AI for near-field communications) was funded by the Graduate Innovation Program of Central China Normal University (NO.2024CXZZ151) (Financed Proportion = 6/40).
[2024-05] My master’s thesis (Deep compressed sensing for RIS communications) was awarded as the Excellent Master Dissertation in HNIST, and was recommended as the Excellent Master Dissertation of Hunan Province in 2024 (Award-winning Proportion = 1/30). [Thesis] [Slides]
[2023-12] A first-authored paper (Hybrid near/far-field channel estimation for STAR-RIS networks) was presented in IEEE GLOBECOM 2023, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
[2022-12] Our team (Jian Xiao, Wei Fang and Yuanjia Huang) was awarded tht first prize for mmWave FMCW Radar-based position in the 19-th China post-graduate mathematical contest in modeling (Proportion of the first prize = 1.13%). [Certificate]
[2022-5] I was awarded the first prize graduate scholarship (Pacemaker to Merit Student) in HNIST (Proportion of first prize = 5/30). [Certificate]
[2021-9] I got fourth place for AI-based channel estimation task in Wireless Communication AI Competition (WAIC) 2021 hosted by The 5G+AI Work Group of IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group (Total number of participating teams = 651). [Code]
